Renaldo Thewissen joined 3stone as a partner in 2024 and brings over a decade of experience in institutional residential investments, ranging from individual assets to large-scale area developments. Alongside his studies in History (University of Amsterdam) and Real Estate Management (Fontys), he worked at UBS, where he learned to analyse and underwrite international real estate investments at an institutional level. He subsequently joined Round Hill Capital, where he was part of the transactions team executing large-scale residential acquisitions for international private equity investors. Afterwards, he moved to Cushman & Wakefield, where, as Associate Director, he contributed to building the residential investment practice within Capital Markets and advised developers and institutional investors on acquisitions and disposals.

Renaldo combines financial expertise, legal fluency, and strategic insight into a single advisory approach. He dissects dossiers to their core and moves decisively when strategic decisions are required. Whether advising on forward fundings, share deals, portfolios, or development sites, his focus remains on achieving the optimal outcome for the client – with clarity, pace, and uncompromising focus on value.

At Round Hill Capital, Renaldo was part of the deal team responsible for the sale of the Vermeer portfolio to Heimstaden – at €1.5 billion, the largest residential transaction ever completed in the Dutch market. He was also involved in the sale of the turnkey residential development Elements in Amsterdam’s Amstelkwartier, transacted at one of the sharpest initial yields recorded. More recently, he advised Dura Vermeer on the acquisition and financial optimisation of development plot C3B in Amsterdam Noord, the location set to host the tallest mid-market residential tower in the Netherlands.

Within 3stone, Renaldo brings together his international private equity background with a content-led transaction philosophy, centred on value creation. He works with clients who prioritise long-term outcomes and relationships built on trust – principles that shape both his own style and that of 3stone.
